Wilder Land - Holy Smokey Blend - Tea

With this blend we tried to catch the peat meadow area between Utrecht and Amsterdam in a tea flavor. This special contains species that are naturally common in wet peatlands. The Holy Smokey Blend consists of swamp spirea, mint and birch leaf. By incorporating these species into the blend, we want to encourage farmers in the peat meadow area to allow these species more on their land.

To honor the history of peat cutting in the peat meadow area, the birch leaf is smoked*. The result is a fresh smoky tea!

Picked at: Boerderij Ekoto (Etten Leur), Burgerboerderij de Patrijs (Laren GLD), Nieuwe bodem (Aalten)

Serving suggestion: 1 tablespoon of tea per pot or 1 teaspoon per cup of boiling water, let it rest for 5 - 8 minutes to pull, then enjoy!
